No updates for a few weeks …

The excitement of work and baby has left me with precious little time to write of late, but there has still been plenty done. We’ve had some extra help, which has been helpful, and in some areas we’ve seen real progress.In others, there has been frustratingly little.The utility room was screeded, and digging out in the back corridor carries out, and the first layer of slab poured. We’ll get the under floor heating coils down and another pour at some point, when we have time!Upstairs, the laying out decisions of the master bathroom suite have been made and the studwork is going back in. Of course, this is all ending up being much more complicated than originally hoped.The last major demolition now is totally stripping out the attic so we can fully insulate the space and reconfigure the rooms a bit more efficiently. That is ongoing and filthy work! Once that’s done, we’ll just have the sitting room door, plasterboard ceiling, and fire places knocking out to do. Then apart from the madness of th kitchen, it’s all building from here…
