The engine room of the house, with its pipes and ducts and boilers and distribution boards etc, is starting to go together. Mr H and his brother A got the ducts and insulation down during the week, which left us today the laying of underfloor heating and a little slab on top.

I’m not much of an underfloor heating person, in truth, in fact I’m not much into heating at all. But as we’ve already excavated and putting the pipes in is a tiny marginal cost and will add significant to the value of the home.
12 mixes in all today, so an easy one. Now for a dinner for mother in law’s birthday.
Back tomorrow to screed.
